Proposal for lithium-ion secondary battery binder! Achieving high adhesion and low resistance! Peel strength increased by 1.7 times compared to our conventional product AN-136K!

<AN-145A> Our company has refined the synthesis technology of water-dispersible polymer microparticles known as "core-corona type microparticles," focusing on their application in the battery field. In response to requests to "minimize the use of binders to reduce electrode resistance and improve charge-discharge characteristics," we have newly developed "AN-145A," which can further enhance the peel strength of electrodes. The newly developed product has shown approximately 1.7 times the peel strength improvement compared to our conventional product "AN-136K," and about three times compared to commercially available SBR, by optimizing polymer design. SEM images also show that binder particles are uniformly dispersed on the surface of the active material, which is expected to contribute to reducing electrode resistance. It is a water-based binder that can be used in the same way as SBR.

Core corona type binder for electric double layer capacitors [Senka Elevaine]

Proposal for a binder for electric double-layer capacitors! An increase in capacitance is expected!

<AN-155A> Our company has refined the synthesis technology of water-dispersible polymer microparticles known as "core-corona type microparticles," focusing on their application in the battery field. Based on the technology developed for LiB anode binders, we have newly developed "AN-155A," which can further increase the capacitance of electric double-layer capacitors. The newly developed product has shown approximately 1.6 times the capacitance improvement compared to our conventional product "AN-110K," and about 1.2 times compared to commercially available SBR, by optimizing the polymer design. SEM images have also shown that the binder particles are uniformly dispersed on the surface of activated carbon compared to commercially available SBR, confirming that the binding state of the binder is different. It is a water-based binder that can be used in the same way as SBR.
